GlamGlow at Costco

GlamGlow at COSTCO!!!!

I can't even believe the price.

Hey guys! Saw this steal of a deal at the Mission Valley Costco and knew I had to post it here.  I'd heard really good things about this $70 GlamGlow mud mask. So, I had to buy it because it was only $40. I tried it as soon as I got home. I was warned that it was strong so I only applied to my cheeks, nose, and center of my forehead, all where I'm oily and have large pores.  After I rinsed it off, my pores were so clean, like professional facial clean. Two days later, my pores still feel tighter.  I highly recommend this product!

Rodial Dragon's Blood Sculpting Gel at Costco

I was at Costco on Morena Blvd last week and saw this steal. Rodial is a high end skin care line from the UK.  I was introduced to it at the Nordstrom Beauty Trend Show in November where it retails for $98.  At Costco, it's selling for $57.99.   If you're a fan of Rodial, run to Costco and pick this sculpting gel up.  If you're unfamiliar with this product, Rodial claims it "plumps and adds volume to sagging skin. Dragon's blood (sap from the Croton Lechleri tree) protects against external aggressors. Reduces redness." Now go. Run to Costco.  Someone you know needs high end skin care at a wholesale price.

Mother's Day Treats at Costco

Hey everyone! It's Friday before Mother's Day and do you have a plan or a gift? Well, I kind of do. We're going to be have brunch at my cousins' home with my extended family. We'll drink lots and lots of champagne because that's essential for Sunday brunch and any celebration and have lots of yummy food. I volunteered to bring something sweet like cinnamon rolls and an egg dish. I think I'm going to bring this one.

I was at Costco a couple of days ago (Mission Valley location) and saw all of the special treats that they make just for Mother's Day. They were dipping strawberries and shortbread cookies in chocolate, YUM. I look forward to those shortbread cookies all year long. There were flowers everywhere, even near the mattresses.  I also saw some other items that could be incorporated this Sunday if you're staying home. I hope this list of goodies helps you out and I wish you all a very happy Mother's Day!

This is the first time I've seen Kirkland Prosecco. The price is right so I'm going to have to try it. Duh.

This cake is so beautiful! It's a Starr Culinary Delight Lemon Raspberry Cake. It's only $8.69. This would pair nicely with Prosecco.

These beauties are new to me. They're $7.99 for the 6 pack. I think I'm going to buy these to serve instead of cinnamon rolls. It's my Mother's Day too after all so I think a store bought item is in order. I'm thinking about how delicious they'll be all warmed up. Yum.
Only $9.99 for these hand dipped long stem strawberries.... Can't beat that.

Finally! These are here! Short bread cookies dipped in chocolate.  Mmmmmm....

The Honest Company at Costco

This is at the Mission Valley location. I'm sure that they have it others too.

I've been eyeing this product, The Honest Company's baby shampoo and body wash, at Costco for a little while. I pulled the trigger and bought it when I saw the price was reduced to a low $11.99. The sign states that the discount is good through February 9, 2014.

Listen up though. Should you miss the sale, it's still such a bargain at $14.99. You're getting two 17 ounce bottles of product. On The Honest Company's website, one 8.5 ounce bottle is $9.95. See? Run to Costco and get this great product!

BCBG Max Azria Cleo Tote at Costco

Let me lead with big news, my kiddo swam without floaties! Yay! My theory is that he's had the ability for some time but has been waiting for the right bribe. I promised that he could watch Hotel Transylvania on a school night. It worked! This guy threw off those Cars water wings and went for it. I'm so proud of him.

Let's move on to the deal I saw at Mission Valley Costco, also important. This BCBG tote is super stylish and chic and less than $70. I did a little googling and discovered this bag and similar ones, are listed for twice as much online.
If you are looking for a smart black leather tote, you better head on down there before they're gone. Enjoy!

AppTivity Toy for iPads at .99 Store

Look what I saw today at the La Mesa .99 Store!! My kid really wanted the Cut The Rope one but he's not allowed to use the iPad. However, I know there are tons of families who do allow their kids to play with them. Also this is great for an adult who likes these games.
You can't beat paying only 99¢. :)

Tumi T-Tech Wallet at Costco

My very first Costco post on this blog was about a Michael Kors wallet. Well, I found another high quality wallet for only $9.97. This time it's a Tumi T-Tech. Tumi.com has a wallet called T-Tech Merge that's $39. It's a little different but purchasing it at Costco would save you $30 and the recipient will be none the wiser. :) I love a good deal!

I figured this would work well for a guy's Christmas gift. All you would need to do is add a little $5 gift card to Starbucks or In N Out and you've got yourself a nice little present for less than $20. That's not easy to come by lately.

This little treasure is at the Mission Valley location. Happy shopping!

Starbucks Hot Cocoa at Costco

I was so happy to see the arrival of Starbucks hot cocoa! It means Christmas to me. Also, it means another good deal on holiday gifts. This 40 ounce canister normally goes for 13.89 but through November 4 (which means you gotta hurry down to pick a couple of these up) the price is 10.99. The container is about 32 servings. That's pretty good. There's a similar product on Starbucks.com but it's 24 servings for 18.95. HEAD TO COSTCO!
A couple of cute things that could be added to this canister of Starbucks goodness would be these ideas for mugs and stirrers on Pinterest. Check them out and you'll have a complete holiday gift.
Or, you can just pick up one of these jewels for yourself. :) Enjoy!

Crayola Monster Art Tub at Costco

Costco is what can only be described as Christmas Heaven. Lots of toys, oodles of decorations, aisles upon aisles of gift possibilities for girls and boys of all ages. I love going there this time of year for all the browsing and shopping for the big day, December 25. Now of course there are birthdays between now and then to shop for but I'm keeping Christmas in mind.

Here's the first of my recommendations for the holidays.  It's the Crayola Monster Art Tub. This thing is jam packed full of goodies, perfect for all the little artists out there in your life. Also, this is a good gift to buy for nobody. I mean a gift to have on hand when you are invited last minute to a child's birthday party or when you weren't counting on exchanging gifts with a cousin but then surprise! she got a gift for your kid. You know...

My fave part of this item is that it comes in its own tub so you can keep all of its contents nice and organized. For $19.79 this kit includes 64 ct crayons, 10 ct mini twistables, 10 ct super tip markers, 5 ct glitter glue, 12 ct colored pencils, 8 ct extreme markers, silly putty and sketch book.

Too good to pass up!

Back To School Clearance at Target

Skip Hop! I'm obsessed with this brand. I love them so much that last year, before my son was even school age, I bought the penguin backpack and lunch bag. Over the year he has used it for overnights with Grandma or when we would pack a snack to take with us to Disneyland or the Zoo.  Now, he takes his lunch bag to school.  :)

Today I went to the Mission Valley Target to buy milk, bread, and chicken. Of course I left with more than the groceries. The Skip Hop lunch bags were calling me. (And so were these uber cute leopard print smoking flats.) I couldn't resist and the price was right. Those bags were marked down to $9.78.

I also noticed that the snack containers that include ice packs were marked down to $2.78. I paid full price a couple of weeks ago. Go get one! Or two.
These were two of my favorites. I was good and only took one home, the puppy.

These containers hold up to two cups of treats. What makes these special is the ice pack in the lid. Neat-O! Only $2.78, not a bad deal.

Padres FanFest

Hi guys, I was tipped off to a FREE Padres event for this Saturday February 11, 2012. It's called Padres FanFest and takes place from 10am-5pm. There will be autograph sessions with players and coaches and tours of Petco Park and Padres clubhouse. Pretty cool, huh? And it's FREE. You don't have to register online but if you do, there are chances of winning some cool stuff, like autographs and pitching and hitting clinics for the little ones.
Ok, check it out.   http://sandiego.padres.mlb.com/sd/fan_forum/fanfest.jsp

I bet this fan wants to go.

Disney Body Pillows (Morena Blvd Costco)

I found a deal too good to pass up today while I was at Costco. These pillows are only $6.97, marked down from $14.99!!! Not too bad.

I tried to convince him to get the one with Finn McMissile. Nope. He loves his Lightning.
Winnie The Pooh is not shown but he's there too.

Deal Alert at Target

I found these super cute booties at Target in Mission Valley. They were about $9. Run down and grab a pair before they are sold out.
P.S. If you need slippers, there are a ton and they are all on clearance.

Booze & Chocolate for Thanksgiving
(Morena Blvd Costco)

Update: I got a couple of mixed reviews about the Pumpkin Pie Cream Liquor. If you purchased it, opened it and didn't care for it, you might be able to return it. Costco is getting strict about alcohol returns.

So, you've been invited to someone's home for Thanksgiving. What are you going to make? A recipe you're not sure of? Or are you going to buy an unimpressive pie from the grocery store? Neither of those sound very wonderful.

Here's what I suggest you do. Head on over to Costco this weekend. Pick up a bottle of Fulton's Harvest Pumpkin Pie Cream Liqueur for only $7.99. It'll go great in the after dinner coffee or shake it up with a little vodka for a pumpkin pie martini. While you're there, grab a chocolate turkey. They are a good size, 1.37 pounds of chocolate, dark or milk, your choice. Not only is it decorative, but it can be enjoyed with a little fruit and cheese post Thanksgiving feast. And you know the kids will love it.

If you are hosting this year, these are ideal for you too. The liqueur would be a nice departure from the normal Bailey's and the chocolate turkey will look so nice among all the desserts.
Fulton's Harvest Pumpkin Pie Cream Liqueur 750 ML 7.99

1.37 lbs of chocolate for $9.99
Milk Chocolate or Dark Chocolate
Keep these toy soldiers in mind for Christmas.

Golf Experience Gift Card (Morena Blvd Costco)

My husband is a golfer. The man loves to play. So, here's the perfect gift for him or for anyone you might know who also loves the sport. For only $90 you get two rounds of golf, one at Sycuan and one at Steele Canyon. Sycuan tee times can be as high as $92. Steele Canyon can cost as much as $139. Clearly, Santa will be picking this up and dropping it off at our house this year. Hopefully, Santa also takes this to my husband's friends as well.

Paul Frank Water Dispenser (Morena Blvd Costco)

How cute is this mini water dispenser?!?! It holds 8 cups and will encourage your little ones to  drink more water. It's only $12.99 and makes for a great gift. Right now there are only Paul Frank ones but there were Hello Kitty ones too. Hopefully those will be restocked this holiday season. Happy shopping!

Hello Kitty Mini Fridge (Morena Blvd Costco)

Note: The fridge has been marked down again. It's now only $24.97. GO GET ONE NOW!

I have been a Hello Kitty fan since the 80's. I had the toothbrush, school supplies, lunch box, etc. I would've killed for a Hello Kitty mini fridge in my room as a kid. Now I'm too old and this doesn't really match my decor but I bet it would be the cutest thing ever in several of my nieces' bedrooms. Hello Christmas and January birthdays!

This super cute personal fridge is marked down to only $29.97 at the Costco on Morena Blvd. It holds six 12 ounce cans or four 16 ounce bottles. It keeps beverages or snacks warm or cool and comes with a wall and car adapter. Pretty cool!
I did a little research to make sure that $29.97 is a good price. I found that through Costco's website it's $39.97. Target, Walmart, and Toys R Us are listing a Hello Kitty mini fridge for $59.  It's not the same one though. It's red with a white kitty outline. However, the size is the same.

Huggies Little Swimmers Deal at Costco

If you've got kiddos in swimmers, Costco has a really good deal on them. For $15 you get between 23-27 of them depending on size. I've seen them advertised else where for around $8 for 10 swimmers. The other great part is that you get 21-29 denim Little Movers in this Fun & Sun pack. This deal is too good to pass up.

Havaianas Flip Flops at Costco $18.99

These are my favorite rubber flip flops. Super comfy and have a little bit of bling. Normally the price is closer to $30 or $40 but they are at Costco for only $18.99. They were sold there last year too but this year there are more colors being offered. Perfect for summer!

I went on http://us.havaianas.com/ and found that you can create your own custom flip flops. Prices vary depending on what you add to your sandals. Pretty cool though.
